Symptom Tracker is a simple symptom-diary app. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data.
Nothing is collected by us, because nothing leaves your device. Symptom Tracker has no network access, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs, and no account or sign-in of any kind.
Everything you enter — symptom entries (start/end time, symptom description, frequency, activity, notes) and your patient name (if you choose to set one) — is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. It is included in your device's normal iCloud/iTunes backup if you have backups enabled on your device, the same as any other app's local data, but is never sent to us or to any third party.
The app can generate a PDF report from your entries so you can share it (for example, with a doctor). This PDF is created entirely on your device. Sharing it uses Apple's standard share sheet — where the PDF goes after that (Files, AirDrop, Mail, Print, etc.) is entirely your choice and outside the app's control.
None. The app does not integrate with any third-party service, SDK, or API.
Deleting the app deletes all of its locally stored data. There is no server-side copy to separately request deletion of.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, since it does not collect information at all.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the developer via the contact information listed on the app's App Store page.
